Slay your audience: Everything you need to know about presenting
If you are in a profession where you need to speak to two or more people to convey an idea or simply to get your message across, you will need to have engaging Presentation Skills.
This 1-day workshop will develop your Presentation Skills to a higher level using NLP techniques. We will be utilizing what we call the YES state, with key techniques and guided practice, you will learn the necessary tools to be able to present with impact and purpose.
Master Uptime: Uptime is where your awareness is outside, aware and not inside. Uptime is a great state to train in because you are just focussing on what you are doing in the moment, thinking in the now rather the past or the future.
The Yes State = Be Positive – Always and in All Ways
➢ If you do not like what you are doing, find one positive aspect of it and focus on that, other positive thoughts will shortly follow
➢ Find elements /areas of your chosen presentation skills subject which you enjoy or find interesting
➢ The audience has no relationship to your subject. They have a relationship to the way you FEEL about your subject.
➢ If you feel good about your subject, so will they
Create and amplify your YES state
➢ Do unto others as you would have them Do Unto You:
o Present in the way you would like to receive a presentation
➢ Being in Yesness…
o Phrase your talk in a way in which you would say “yes” were you a member of the audience.
o What do you say “yes” to, fully and completely?
o What would you like to say “yes” to, fully and completely?
